We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded HCPC registered Physiotherapist with experience of working in the NHS, to join our therapy team.
You will provide a patient centred approach to care, under pinned by sound clinical knowledge in evidence based assessment and management.
To work collaboratively with the patients, members of the multidisciplinary team and multiagency team to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
The candidate will need to have experience of working in the NHS either as a student or qualified physiotherapist.
There will be a requirement to join the on-call rota once competencies have been gained, with the full support of the senior Physiotherapy respiratory team. Job description Job responsibilities To work autonomously to manage a defined patient caseload whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team, referring to a senior clinician who is available on a daily basis as required.
To contribute to the delivery of the service in a variety of defined clinical settings, which may include in-patient wards, out-patient and community clinics and the patients home.
To utilise effective communication skills to ensure clinical advice and treatment programmes are delivered sensitively, taking into consideration the needs of carers.
To maintain professional practice within the context of the Health & Care Professions Council. This includes standards of proficiency, conduct and performance, ethics and continuing professional development.
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to decisions with regard to patient care programmes through attendance at ward rounds, case conferences and other multidisciplinary meetings.
To maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards, and local policies and procedures.
To provide accurate and timely information and reports to referring agents and other agencies where appropriate.
To maintain competency to practice through CPD activities, producing a personal portfolio which reflects professional development.
To record and submit clinical activity data as required by the Trust in an accurate and timely manner.
To contribute innovate ideas to enable the development and implementation of service improvements.
