Our success is driven by a dedicated team, and we're currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Service Administrator at our Huyton Liverpool Location.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our service department, adhering to North West Trucks company standards, the commercial vehicle industry, and DAF dealer standards.


Working hours:
Monday to Friday between 07:30 - 17:30 aka 42.5 hours per week. Some flexibility may be required on occasions.

The shift patterns will be 08.00am - 17:00pm pr 7.30am pm, plus Saturday mornings as overtime for 4 hours on a rotational basis.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Efficiently manage workshop job card invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate service department records and systems.
  • Process monthend job card invoicing promptly to minimise work in progress.
  • Handle the processing of warranty claims in adherence to industry standards.
  • Ensure effective control of the warranty system to mitigate potential company losses.
  • Raise and invoice warranty claims accurately.
  • Manage warranty rejections from DAF and recharge the customer as necessary.
  • Maintain the interface between dealership systems and those of the manufacturer/distributor.
  • Conduct all transactions with precision and maintain clear records.
  • Uphold a consistently professional and courteous welcome for all visitors.
  • Record and pass messages promptly and accurately to relevant personnel.
  • Ensure efficient telephone connections, considering busy times and ongoing meetings.
  • Enhance the reputation of North West Trucks during interactions with others.
  • File completed invoiced job card histories and conduct annual archiving of job cards.
  • Maintaining order numbers and invoicing retail customers

Qualifications, Training, and Experience:


  • Impeccable standards of personal grooming.(Must Have)
  • Articulate and clearly spoken.(Must Have)
  • Experience in DAF and or dealership administration systems and paperwork handling (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of manufacturer's policies, paperwork, and documentation systems (highly desirable)
  • Calm and organised approach to problemsolving in a pressurised service environment. (Must Have)
  • Numerate and literate at a level commensurate with the duties. (Must Have)
  • Display a friendly yet businesslike approach to visitors. (Must Have)

From £11.44 per hour

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
