We have opportunities for Full Stack Developers to join our Digital Platform team, a centre of excellence for all things digital here at Aldermore.

You'll be joining at a very exciting time as we are creating a brand-new website for Aldermore, utilisingsome progressive technologies like.net6, angular v14 and Umbraco for our CMS capability.

We'll also be moving from on-prem to Azure and cloud for the new website. This is a rare opportunity to help us deliver the Bank's new website, portals and integrations.
The work will be varied, interesting and significant to the ongoing transformation of our tech landscape.


The team are based in our Reading office but work in a very flexible and mostly remote way.

What would your day look like?

  • Developing code for our website and portals as part of an Agile development team, assisting Product Owners, project teams and UX and UI Designers too
  • Adhere to development standards and operational policies as part of a regulated environment
  • Help create robust best practice development techniques
  • Ensure code is delivered to a high quality, functioning to acceptance criteria across all required devices
  • Ensure that nonfunctional requirements are considered including performance and accessibility considerations
  • Optimise the performance of the code

What do we expect of you?

  • Significant experience in a similar Full Stack Dev role; developing APIs and frontend solutions.
  • Backend dev experience in C#.NET, Rest API and frontend dev experience in JavaScript, HTML/ CSS/ SCSS
  • Experience developing solutions on a CMS platform we use Umbraco but experience with MVC / Razor pages is great instead and we will train you in Umbraco
  • Experience working within agile delivery teams
  • Experience working with 3rd party suppliers
