VOLUNTEER ROLE at SUNSHINE_

Are you passionate about volunteering and making a difference in your community? Do you want to use your skills and experience to help a brand new grassroots community wellbeing charity thrive? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our very small team as one of our Interim Trustees for the next 6 months, during our set up phase (with the option of staying on to support us in our 2nd pre-launch phase).

As one of our Interim Trustees, you will play a vital role in forming, setting up and developing our brand new grassroots community wellbeing charity, leading on setting up of our charity, getting us registered and ready for our pre-launch phase and ensuring that we will make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

We are looking for someone who is committed to our cause and who can bring their unique experiences, perspectives and expertise to the table, who will support our Founder and CEO and our small team to make SUNSHINE a huge success.

You should have experience in a field relevant to managing a brand new start up charity and helping it to grow and develop for example; fundraising, or finance, or health and wellbeing, or community/charity work or marketing, or in another area of benefit and be willing to dedicate your time and energy to help us achieve our goals.

The role is mostly remote with meetings and charity activities taking place in Tower Hamlets in East London.

In return, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, make valuable connections, and be part of a community that will be making a real difference to peoples lives.

This role involves:

Approx. 2 to 4 hours per month, including Quarterly Trustee Meetings (held between 79pm booked in advanced and based in Tower Hamlets or the surrounding areas).
The first two Trustee Meetings will be held over 2 weeks to sign off paperwork, with the third Meeting being held month later with quarterly meetings starting after that time.
