My Client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers within its field of metal based forgings. The company is a well established with over 100 years experience; they are producer to a wide variety of markets, having 3 plants in the UK, with 1000 employees. The Dronfield site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
• Supervisory Experience in Heavy or Process Industry

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day supervising, engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, driven by PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background, with supervisory knowledge and should be able to coordinate teams and also work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias, but multi-skilled and have PLC experience. Also, able, and willing to be involved in general mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
