We are seeking a resilient and empathetic Behavior Mentor to join our dynamic team.

As a Behavior Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting both primary and secondary aged students with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behavior.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students, helping them manage their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.
  • Implement proactive behavior management techniques to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster trusting relationships with students, offering encouragement and assistance to promote their social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop personalised support plans for students, addressing their specific needs and goals.
  • Respond to challenging situations with patience and empathy, utilising deescalation strategies and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders to ensure continuous support and improvement.
  • Facilitate group activities and discussions aimed at promoting social skills, selfawareness, and emotional regulation.
  • Model positive behavior and encourage students to communicate effectively and collaborate with their peers.
  • Create a sense of belonging and acceptance within the school community, celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and colleagues, sharing insights and updates to ensure coordinated support for each student.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to access additional resources and support for students as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavior management and child development.

£90.00-£110.00 per day
