Purchasing Assistant

The Role

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
  • Follow up with and chase suppliers on any late deliveries
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Attend weekly meetings and provide updates
  • Generate reports on supplier performances and share these with procurement manager
  • Monitor stock levels and adjust accordingly when required
  • Other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

  • 3rd level qualification or relative experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident with a positive cando attitude
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Good computer skills

£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
