- Work with Operations Director and site management teams to implement the SHEQ strategy
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a "right first time" approach
- Focus on health, safety, and environment along with aspects of quality
- Manage and be responsible for improving health and safety standards across the sites
- Collate and analyze performance data for reporting purposes
- Manage ISO14001 and ISO18001 requirements
- Verify product conformity
- Support continuous improvement projects and technical changes
- Design and implement training programmes
- Act as a key interface with customers and suppliers
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement within safety, health, and environment
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO18001
- Experience with lean techniques is advantageous
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Results-oriented and a problem solver
- Highly organized with the ability to adapt to change

Our client, a multi-site national manufacturing business, is searching for a SHEQ Manager to lead the development of a strategy to enhance the SHEQ function within the company. You will also provide hands-on support on the shop floor to multiple manufacturing plants.
This role involves being shop floor-based for approximately half of the time and requires travel to multiple sites in the north of England within the M62 corridor.
