Frontend Developer - React
Sherborne, Dorset (Remote working - One day per fortnight in the office)


£35,000 - £50,000


Front End Developer - We are working exclusively with an established Dorset-based Digital Web agency to recruit a Frontend Developer; with 25+ employees, you'll be the driving force in building a range of exciting software solutions for some of the largestBlue-chip companies in the UK, including Sony & the BBC.


The Business are evolving from building great bespoke products for their customers to creating their own innovative SaaS platform, the goal being that they can grow different audiences with their own software.


Over the next 12-months, you'll play an integral role within the development team, helping build the SaaS platform alongside a hands on Head of development and a dedicated collaborative development team.

As the prefered applicant you will join a small, but friendly and talented development team of 4.

The pipeline of work will enable considerable headcount growth in 2023 and there is no progression ceiling here, more of a meritocracy and some of the currentDirectors joined in relatively junior roles.

Responsibilities:


  • Write clean, html, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Remain uptodate with terminology, concepts and best practices
  • Develop interfaces to specifications and to a high standard
  • Create and test software prototypes
  • Strong understanding of UX and pixel perfect development
  • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Key Skills / Expereince

  • Proven ability to create user interfaces, web design and UX
  • 3/5 years of development experience
  • Expert knowledge of React
  • Knowledge of Razor and Liquid templating
  • HTML5/CSS3/SASS
  • Familiarity with architecture styles
  • Knowledge of implementing REST and RPC APIs
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team setting
