HR Systems and Data Support Officer
We are looking for a HR Systems and Data Support Officer to join our newly re-structured HR team.

You will work within our HR Systems Team to deliver first class system support and data provision to the organisation.


In this newly created HR Systems and Data Support Officer role, you will be providing systems support for workforce lifecycle processes, supporting both colleagues and managers across the Council.


You will play an important team role in providing system administration to a range of HR systems, including the main HR/Payroll system, Learning Management System and the Applicant Tracking System.


The Role

  • To act as first point of contact for any user system queries whilst escalating where appropriate.
  • To assist the HR Systems team to build, test, maintain and improve the HR/Payroll databases, processes and business intelligence.
  • To support the day to day maintenance of the workforce establishment within the HR and Payroll System such as setting up post records, hierarchy and reporting lines changes
  • You will have the ability to build relationships across the Council, and with HR/Payroll colleagues.
  • You will be able to work in a selfsufficient manner, managing your own workload within a small team environment.
  • You will have experience of providing HR/Payroll system administration support.
  • You will hold a Level 3 CIPD/CIPP diploma, equivalent qualification or experience.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering effective HR/Payroll systems support and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer care and continuous improvement.
