Accounts Assistant
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining the cash book and posting transactions to the ledger daily.
- Purchase and sales ledger management.
- Reviewing Work in Progress and preparing weekly reports.
- Daily Credit Control.
- Preparing and posting monthly journals and schedules.
- Assist with preparing monthly management accounts to Trial Balance.
- Assist with preparing quarterly VAT returns.
- Payroll preparation for submission to bureau.
- Ad hoc administrative work.
- Previous experience in an accounts role is essential (2+ years)
- Strong Excel knowledge and experience of Xero is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
