About the role
We're currently recruiting for

Assessment Associates to write, review and scrutinise external assessments for the following qualification:
T Level Technical Qualification in

Healthcare Science Occupational Specialism:
Assisting Healthcare Science.

This paper focuses on the working within the Healthcare Science industry and knowledge required in the job role(s) - specifically on working within healthcare science laboratories and roles.

Assessment Associate, your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Producing assessment content (brief and scenarios, supporting documentation and mark schemes) that meet NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements.
  • Reviewing assessment content (brief and scenarios, supporting documentation and mark schemes) to ensure that it meets NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements.
  • Submitting assessment content in the required format, within agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring assessment content meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Production Officer.
  • Providing additional assessment content as required, including document/image sources and details of copyright permission, as required.
  • Attending paper review panel days and training sessions, as required (online).
  • Liaising with Chief Examiners, Scrutineers and Assessment Production Officers.

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Experience of working in Healthcare Science focused roles
  • Experience of writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials.
  • Examining experience desirable.
  • Experience working or teaching in the science sector desirable.
  • You need to have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Healthcare Science or related discipline.
  • You should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You should have excellent attention to detail.
  • You should be able to work accurately and consistently, and at times to tight timescales.
