Head of Service Delivery

Milton Keynes (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week in the office)

£ per day (outside IR35) OR up to £90K per year (Fixed Term Contract)

Duration: 3-6 months


STOIX are partnering exclusively with a Global business to attract a Head of Service Delivery on a short-term basis to drive change and improvements within their IT Service delivery team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Create an IT Ops manual with processes, service levels, resolver groups, escalation paths etc for the IT support vendor
  • Lead the creation and execution of an RFP process to select a vendor to run our store IT support (and take contractual and operational responsibility for all other services e.g., networking)
  • Create internal processes to manage major incidents and escalations
  • Strong presence, drive and charisma; strives for excellence
  • Understands how organisations work and the reasoning behind policies, knowledgeable of different organizational cultures
  • Uses an honest and empowering mentoring style to harness value and potential; promotes collaboration
  • Customercentric; Takes personal responsibility for increasing customer satisfaction
  • Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
  • Handson approach and initiative; demonstrates a willingness to jump into action wherever they might be needed
