The Warehouse Assistant will assist with the preparation and dispatch of hire equipment.

The role will provide invaluable support to ensure that the operation delivers exceptional service to its customers and ensuring output meets the requirements of the business.

The role includes the preparation of Audio equipment and other warehouse duties.

You may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training / support will be given.

Main Responsibilities:


  • The preparation, assembly, and depreparation of Audio equipment.
  • Ensuring equipment is delivered within timelines and with appropriate packaging and documentation.
  • Immediately reporting to managers any anomalies, lost or damaged equipment.
  • Ensuring warehouse is maintained in a clean, organised and tidy condition.
  • Assisting the loading and tipping of courier / transport vehicles.
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with third parties and customers to provide a high standard of support and customer service and adhere to Solotech service standards.
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with all areas of the business and outside sources in a clear and effective manner and in accordance with Solotech core standards.
  • Work as a member of the team, developing positive working relationships with other Solotech' s colleagues, departments, and external contacts.
  • Any other additional ad hoc duties as required.

Essential skills / experience:


  • Good administration skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Competent with the use of computers.
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
  • Experience of working within a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Organization skills

Level of education:


  • Educated to GCSE level, with A-C or 49 in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Work Experience:


  • 1 years of experience in the Audio/lighting/Video industry.

Essential Requirements:


  • Right to work and remain in the UK
  • Flexibility to work unsociable hours as required in addition to your normal hours of work.
