Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge within a growing Neurodiversity team? Are you looking for a role that can offer flexible working whilst also paying HCAS?


Due to new investment the Neurodiversity team is growing, creating a great opportunity for us to bring some new Administrators in to the team.


Based at Erlegh House, Reading, we are a friendly and supportive service, who are passionate and forward thinking about neurodiversity.

In the role you will have the opportunity to gain experience working across both the Autism Assessment Team and the ADHD team.

You will ensure to provide the required administrative support to ensure that clinical services are delivered efficiently, and children, young people and families receive a seamless and timely service.

  • To support the effective operation of the Neurodiversity Service, ensuring that administrative and data functions are delivered and run smoothly for the service
  • Foster and maintain relationships with families and professionals
  • Assist the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective procedures
  • Arrange individual and multidisciplinary appointments for service users and the associated logging, confirmations and other necessary activities
  • Ensure efficient and accurate data is recorded on all electronic systems, in particular RiO electronic records, which conforms to necessary policies, processes and protocols
  • Format/type/send out confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within an agreed timescale using software packages
  • Provide general administrative support, including diary management of clinics
  • Support the activities and work of the Team Leads, Service Lead and Business Support Manager as and when required
  • Assist in the collection, processing and presentation of data as needed to support service leads and managers

The "must haves" for this role:

  • A basic level of administration knowledge
  • Previous experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to navigate around various systems and software packages (such as outlook, databases, MS office and the internet
