Hourly Rate:
£12.11

The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.


A market supplement of £0.72p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate.

This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.

Local Government Reorganisation
Local Government in Cumbria has changed.

The current six district councils and Cumbria County Council have now been replaced by two new unitary authorities - Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council.

This role will be based in and employed by Cumberland Council

About Residential Care
Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years.

Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility as well as supporting emotional wellness.

About the role

As a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.

You may also assist with medication providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started.

We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities.

About Our Home

Park Lodge Residential Home provides a safe caring and home-from-home environment for up to15 residents with complex health care needs.

Situated close to all facilities in the market town of Aspatria we offer respite and residential care for those who are elderly or frail.


Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm - 7.30am (nights) over 7 days 365 day a year - this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.

DBS

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced
DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
