This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-regarded employer in the local area where your commitment and hard work will be rewarded.

Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm. Overtime is paid on all additional hours.

This role will work directly alongside the warehouse team. The successful applicant will be responsible for keeping the warehouses and associated yards clean and tidy. You will be required to clean hire stock upon return and ensure all vehicles are wellmaintained.


You will support the warehouse team with the preparation of hire and sales stock, loading/unloading of vehicles and the day to day upkeep of stock.


This is a varied role and a great chance to be a key part of a small and friendly team.


Due to the nature of the business, hours will occasionally vary and you will be required to work some evenings and weekends.


The Job - Yard Operative:


  • Keep the warehouses and yard clean and tidy.
  • Put away/organise stock.
  • Clean hire stock upon return before restocking.
  • Organise stock.
  • Maintain company vehicles.
  • Assist the warehouse team with the preparation of stock.
  • Load/Unload vehicles.
  • Day to day upkeep of the warehouses and yard.

The Individual - Yard Operative:


  • Forklift licenses would be an advantage.
  • Driving licence would be an advantage.
  • Previous Yard/Warehouse experience.
  • Strong and proactive team player.
  • Must be physically fit due to the demands of the role.
  • A diligent, organised and enthusiastic individual.
