Salary starting from £33,091.50 per annum, pro rata

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll and Pension Manager on behalf of their nationally-recognised client, based in the Manchester area.


Role responsibilities and requirements:

  • Provide a proactive and responsive payroll function by successful management of the payroll and expenses contracts
  • Ensure NICE meets the employer duties in respect of these contracts and deal with contract issues where necessary
  • Act as a point of expertise for specialist payroll, pension and expenses advice for NICE, for employees and managers and be the main point of contact for the outsourced providers
  • Lead on helping nonFinance colleagues to understand payroll and expense systems.
  • Compile relevant payroll and pension sections of the Annual Report, assist with Accounts and paygap reporting
  • Support senior colleagues in submitting statutory returns to the DHSC and other external bodies, ensuring they comply with all relevant legislation and NHSspecific guidance
