I am currently recruiting on behalf of an end user who is looking for a UK Data Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

You can be based anywhere in the UK, and my client can offer the role as mainly remote based or as a hybrid model of home andoffice based (Berkshire OR Southend-on-sea).

The main objective for my client is to make better use of their data, and that by harnessing the insight from their different systems they could help provide better service to their customers.

My client are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O + CE.

Aspart of the implementation they are introducing a Data Lake with the vision of pulling in data from our other systems to have one single view of the business.

What kind of experience will you need?

An experience individual to take ownership of data, reporting and business insight.
Need to work on their own initiative helping my client identify data insights and working with all parts of the business as they look to make use of Power BI, Powers Apps and D36
You will be a part of their IT team of 4, but would work with other data experts within the different business areas providing leadership on their approach to data.
Use and development of Power BI dashboards and reports as this will be their primary interface into the data lake along with Excel.
A multiskilled data developer that has mixed bag of experience with Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
Need to be able to really understand all parts of their business and the data sources feeding in to maximise both the customers outputs and their dashboards. The understanding of the different parts of the business will also help to really highlight thedata that is important rather than just noise, ideally through experience would also know the limitations of what can be achieved.
