Production Quality Systems Coordinator

Sutton in Ashfield
We are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading manufacturer of luxury, high-end products.

They are one of the largest international manufacturers in their field and have an enviable reputation for quality and design.


They are part of an International Group, consisting of other major quality brands, therefore providing strong financial stability and wide market recognition.

They have a need for a
Production Quality Systems Coordinator** to join them on a full-time and permanent basis.

You will be working with and reporting to the Compliance, Safety & Environmental Manager.


Job Summary


Daily/Weekly/monthly preparation of daily production figures, quality performance figures, and health and safety statistics, to carry out due diligence and liaise with the quality team to resolve any product issues and to prepare the necessary waste packagingdocumentation on an annual basis for all brands.

Upkeep of ISO systems and continual improvement programmes for site for both ISO 9001 & 45001.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for due diligence and general maintenance of physical documentation on an ongoing basis.
  • Responsible for product physical performance and documentation from the required supply base, to ensure the appropriate general domestic standards are achieved liaising with the design and development team throughout the new introduction cycle.
  • Collation of Accident reports and investigations
  • Nonconformance database reporting
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Reports for the production process
  • Check all component introductions to ensure we possess the correct test results liaising closely with the development team.
  • Manage Certificate of Conformity process for all divisions.
  • Produce monthly reports on Health & Safety Statistics from information supplied by all managers
  • To assist in taking minutes of the Health & Safety meetings and issuing to department heads and placing onto internal notice boards.
  • Prepare all the necessary waste packaging documentation for all suppliers on an annual basis for each division.
  • Scan works tickets for the examining and production functions on a daily basis
  • Order first aid stock for site and arrange training for first aiders as and when required
  • Liaison with cleaners to ensure smooth operation on a frequent basis to ensure site is cleanliness is kept to a very high standard.
  • Correspond with the quality team accordingly to resolve any component issues that may arise during the pre/postproduction cycle and resolve issues with supply base and procurement team.
  • Following relevant training, create a continual improvement audit programme for ISO 9001/ 45001 and carry out necessary audits on a monthly basis in all areas.
  • Updating of all risk assessments within set time limits liaising with management team and operatives to ensure buy in at all levels.
  • Create monthly compliance report to highlight any issues and suggestions for improvement.

Key Skills:


  • Very strong administration and coordination skills
  • Experience of working in a busy production environment
  • Ideally, knowledge and experience using an internal IT system.
  • Ability to create professional reports and data processing.
  • Highly organised and able to meet task deadlines.
  • Have competent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word with strong data and Word processing skills.
  • Must have high attention to detail.
  • Interest and passion for quality, compliance, safety & environment.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
