Inclusion IQ is delighted to be supporting our multi-award-winning client as they continue to expand their service offering to their international clients and as a result, they are seeking to appoint a Transport Co-ordinator to their NI Head quarters Quarters based at Lisburn.


The Role


This successful applicant will join a multi-award-winning organisation who have been operational for over 50 years and is forecast to turn over in excess of £40 million this year.


Within the last 12 months, they have promoted 10 people into management positions, with an investment of an external 6-month management training program, they have also promoted 15 people across the business in the last year throughout the organisation.

With extensive and ambitious plans to grow even further in the next 5 years, the promotional opportunities are endless.


This is the perfect opportunity for a transport co-ordinator to join an organization with a deep local and national heritage whereby you will receive onsite in-depth training in order to progress your career with a highly innovative business that is growing at an exceptional rate.

You will be required to undertake the following day-to-day duties:

  • Meet customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Tracking trailer movements and keeping our customers updated.
  • Checking supplier documentation against loads.
  • Liaising with subcontractors.
  • Briefing drivers in relation to routes and traffic management
  • Preparing shift handovers and measuring KPI's.
  • Learning all aspects of Transport across the island of Ireland and UK.

The Person

  • Applicants must be able to work the following shifts:

Butterfly shift pattern (Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.


Week 2:
Wednesday & Thursday)

Hours of work 8.00am - 8.00pm

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in transport/warehousing operation
  • Effective communicator both written and verbal and exceptional organizational skills
  • Have highlevel IT skills as the complete operation is digital.
  • Good timekeeping and being able to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable requirements.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.
