    Description

    Used Parts Sales Person – Heavy Plant Construction Equipment Following a recent internal promotion, we're now looking for a Used Parts Salesperson to join our busy team in Leicestershire What's involved in the roleProcess customer and engineer orders.

    Ensure margins are maintained during sales.
    Proactively contact potential customers to sell used parts.
    Identify future machine / component purchases.
    Internal and external assistance with questions and analysis.
    To ensure old unit returns are made within a timely manner, owning the refurbishment process.
    Complete new stock updates.
    Arrange national and overseas transport to satisfy customer requirements.
    Maintain social media pages.
    Assist different teams as and when required.
    Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.

    What you will needIdeally a parts sales background within the construction, HGV or agricultural machinery industryGood communication and customer service skillsGood verbal and written skillsNegotiating on price within defined parametersProactive selling / upselling skillsSelf motivated and able to self-manageWork as a team member and work with well with other departments and customersInvoicing process understandingProblem solving skillsOwn transport due to office locationWhat's on offerAn attractive starting salaryEnhanced rate overtimeAnnual bonusGenerous pension schemeMedical and dental coverRetail discountsHours: You'll be contracted to 38.5 hours per week, 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-16:00 on Fridays.
