    Shift Pattern:
    40 hours per week

    Contribute to building a culture of food safety and quality across the site.
    Reduce hazards, risks, and incidents by promoting the Technical Excellence agenda.
    Track, report and help to improve safety & food safety performance metrics. Drive compliance in all production areas against Food Safety & Quality Standards (OPEX MS)
    Promote Food Safety & Quality Culture model across site and involved in role out of site plan
    Manage supplier complaints & Non - conformances. Complete quarterly reviews with key suppliers, ensuring foods connected is maintained
    Lead key technical projects such as hygiene & allergen validations, site claims validations
    Manage key supplier relationships at site: e.g. pest control, chemical supplier

    Conduct investigations :
    eg microbial complaints etc ensuring root cause analysis and shared learning across site/ business where applicable.
    Support site during production trials to ensure product meets food safety and quality criteria
    Train out core technical skills such as allergen awareness/ Food Hygiene/ HACCP etc Build a high performing team

    Participate in training plan to ensure site goals achieved
    Set standards, raise standards, and confirm standard work across safety, quality, environmental and manufacture.
    Use data analysis to make problems visible, quantifiable and to guide decisions.
    To lead out technical projects such as validations
    Support & assist in projects in accordance with the site goals
    Carry out investigations such as micro complaints to ensure root cause identified and shared learning provided
    Experience in Technical/ Quality within Food Manufacturing Environment
    IT Skills - proficient use of Microsoft Office
    Ability to write reports & risk assessments
    Foundational knowledge Food Safety / Technology or another appropriate discipline
    HACCP & Food Safety Level 3
    Be courageous, able to speak up even if it feels uncomfortable to do so and ask for help when required
