Description

The Dalmeny Resort Hotel, originally opened in 1946, has a very good reputation for excellent customer service and outstanding housekeeping.

We are looking for a Linen Porter to join our Housekeeping department working alongside our Housekeeping team.


Responsibilities to include:

  • Sorting, counting, and recording all linen to ensure sufficient stock is available.
  • To check all laundry in and out, ensuring all documentation is checked and completed as necessary
  • To check in deliveries and put in correct storerooms.
  • To clean and maintain storage rooms, corridors and public areas to the required standard.
  • To ensure that all linen trolleys, cupboards are stocked
  • To ensure in house Housekeeping duties are completed, such as washing and ironing


The position is a 16-hour weekly contract to cover the busy weekends; however, it may be required to work overtime during high seasons in the hotel.
