Senior Procurement Specialist
Our client is currently looking to recruiting for a
Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is a senior role within an award-winning and hugely successful business.


The Role

  • Identify new procurement opportunities and intergrade them into the business
  • Monitor current procurement procedures and identify any areas which could be improved
  • Agreeing best possible prices for parts and materials
  • Source and establish connections with alternative suppliers
  • Liaise with production and design team for update on their part / material requirements
  • Monitor market demand for parts and materials
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any under performance
  • Attend and chair meetings and advise on any procurement issues

Essential Criteria

  • At least 2 years' experience in a procurement role
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good people skills
  • Must be ok to travel occasionally for business

£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dungannon and South Tyrone,

County Tyrone:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:


  • Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
  • Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
