SF Recruitment are working with a business in Redditch who due to growth has created a new opportunity for a Head of Sales to join the team.

This will be 100% new sales.

£55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Commission

Must have a logistics (Sales) background: sold in to automotive / aerospace or retail


Role:

  • Generating new leads and capturing them on the internal CRM system
  • Driving growth of the business through new customers
  • Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement
  • Negotiating contracts with prospective customers
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of customers
  • Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns
  • Understanding and promoting the company strategy
  • Build and maintain strong and longlasting relationships with specified customer(s) and suppliers
  • Working closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and KPI adherence
  • Establishing key contacts, relationships and connections across the wider sector
  • Developing a deep understanding of the customers' business including group and extended opportunities, competitive influences on the business, networking
  • Ensuring customers are aware of the latest solutions to drive efficiencies, grow the business and maximise potential
  • Identifying crossfunctional service/product opportunities
People Management

  • Motivate sales team morale and productivity
  • Enforcing processes and forming good habits
  • Develop and empower sales team
  • Monitor revenue and profit targets for the company and establish achievable KPIs
  • Regular team 121s and catch ups
  • Support, coach and guide your team
  • Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue and profit targets
  • Proven ability of generating new business opportunities within the logistics market place through increased engagement and identifying opportunities
  • Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth logistics environment
