We are currently looking for a Graduate/Trainee Accountantto join the team based at our Shared Services Headquarters in Aldershot, Hampshire.


Salary:
Start on £24,000 and would be given CIMA/ACCA study support after 90 days.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Location:
Victoria House, Victoria Road, Aldershot, GU11 1EJ


In this role you will work within our Finance department and be responsible for completing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls reporting as well as other adhoc tasks.

This role will work within our ARMS BusinessSolutions side of the business supporting; Credit Hire/Credit Repair, Damage recovery Unit, Vehicle Repair, Risk Management, Contact Centre and Entegral lines of business.

The role will include a comprehensive training programme and study support towards completing professional studies (after completion of 90-day probationary period).


Responsibilities:


  • Processing vendor invoices
  • Preparation of Monthly Financials
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Processing journals and accruals
  • Identifying areas to reduce costs and improve processes
  • Internal Controls
  • Adhoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications:


  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Intermediate experience, or above, in Microsoft Excel
  • Extremely organised and efficient
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Focused on providing excellent customer service
