Our main aim is:

To provide a young lady with person centred support so she is able to feel connected to her community, feel safe in a homely environment and receive the care and support she need's in all aspects of her life whilst promoting independence.

The young lady lives in her own bungalow with a staff team on a 2:1 basis 24 hours a day including evenings, weekends, sleep in and waking night duties.

She has a diagnosis of severe learning disabilities, Autism and can present with behaviours which challenge. The young lady requires staff to maintain boundaries and keep to a routine which is important to her. The young lady has sensory needs and requires consistent support. She has access to her own mobility car.

She enjoys Disney, drives out in the car, spending time on her own within her home and spending time with her staff which helps her to feel safe.

At times the young lady does require additional support when she becomes anxious.

The young lady appreciates staff who are fun and not afraid to sing and dance, good sense of humour, calm, friendly, consistently committed to her and are able to maintain boundaries to make her feel safe.

Our support staff work with people to enhance their skills within the home environment by supporting with cooking, daily living tasks, budgeting and financial support, personal care, accessing education and healthcare.

Experience is preferred due to the complex needs of the person, however full training will be provided which consists of a combination of face to face, online and shadowing an existing staff member.

We will support you to complete Care Certificate and also provide opportunities to gain qualifications in Health and Social Care.

A full UK driving licence is essential, however mileage can be claimed.
