- Work autonomously as an Audiological Scientist with adults, children, and neonates in the Audiology team.
- Perform a range of specialist clinical activities, including diagnostics and rehabilitation.
- Provide Adult Audiology services at satellite clinics and in patients' homes as required.
- Conduct complex clinic assessments, such as paediatric and vestibular assessments.
- Maintain expertise in routine and non-routine testing and rehabilitation methods.
- Act as a point of contact for junior team members to ensure high-quality care for all patients.
- Transport equipment and stock to different locations as necessary.
- Keep the patient management system up to date and ensure stock is managed appropriately.
- MSc Audiology or equivalent.
- MSc Hearing therapy or equivalent.
- Professional registration with HCPC as a clinical scientist or RCCP as an Audiologist.
- Evidence of further training in a specialist area of Audiology.
- In-depth knowledge of current BSA recommendations and protocols.
- Ability to interpret complex test results and write concise reports.
- Familiarity with clinical audit and the audit cycle.
- Ability to perform complex physiological testing.
- Deadline-oriented.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, and First Aid.
- Proficiency in British Sign Language.
- Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or similar.
- Special interest in a specific area within Audiology.
- Extensive experience in NHS Audiology Service.
- Significant experience in managing patients with complex auditory needs.
- Rehabilitation and counseling experience with adults.
- Experience using Auditbase.
- Familiarity with a wide range of Hearing aid technology.
- Knowledge of NHS service provision and pathways.

An exciting opportunity for a 1-year Fixed Term Band 5/6 Senior Audiologist is now available, depending on experience! Join our friendly team and have the chance to train in a specialist area within the department and attend funded CPD.
As the Senior Audiologist, you will be providing comprehensive care to our patients in a supportive audiology team. We are seeking individuals with Audiology experience, especially with complex patients, or those interested in learning a specialism within an encouraging NHS department. Good communication skills, leadership, and an excellent patient care attitude are essential. A BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications, along with registration with the ACHS or HCPC, and some post-qualification experience in the NHS or other Healthcare Organization are required.
