Salary:
up to £50,000 dependant on experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Management & delivery of resource planning providing complex resource solutions to meet departmental and business objectives ensuring the provision of a seamless and joined up end to end resourcing and recruitment service.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of Quality capability within Quality function and Early Careers population across Naval Ships via a robust learning and development strategy ensuring alignment of strategic priorities (immediate and future).
  • Represent Naval Ships Quality Function at People Capability Working Group & relevant stakeholder reviews (at Group level) delivering associated requirements.
  • Management of Early Careers Quality Objectives Framework and deployment of learning via virtual and face to face sessions, online portal (CANVAS) usage and regular engagement activities.
  • Mature and implement the Career Framework for Quality early careers and support induction and placement rotation requirements ensuring value add across all areas and apprenticeship/graduate requirements met.
  • Responsible for Corporate Purchasing Account (CPA) for procurement of functional consumables and validation of monthly statements including resource (contingent labour).

Your skills and experiences:


  • Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across a diverse population of people ranging across all levels of hierarchy within and out with own function
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks ensuring timely delivery to due date performance.
  • Strategic planning across resource and capability requirements and associated cost forecasting across these areas
  • Able to develop and deliver training packages to early careers and wider function and business
  • Able to have challenging conversations and the ability to engage with a wide variety of situations and potential outcomes
  • Continuous improvement mind set and ability to deliver improvements across full scope of work

You'll be the heart of developing and maintaining the longterm strategic plans to meet future resource demand on behalf of the Quality Function.
