We have a new and exciting opportunity for an
Occupational Health Professionalto join our team on a part-time basis for 3 days per week.

This will be predominantly day shifts with the occasional night shift, as required.

The
Occupational Health Professionalis accountable for promoting the health of our people across the business.

Working with the Health & Safety team, you will undertake Health & Well-being activities across the site, including health checksfor FLT operators, auditory checks and working in confined spaces.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Using your clinical judgement and risk assessments to keep our people operating within the business as safe as possible
  • Ensuring the best possible outcomes by using uptodate skills and adhering to evidencebased policies and procedures ensuring the service adds value
  • Escalating safety concerns and by doing so acting as an effective advocate for all employees
  • Reflecting on everyday working practice to identify areas where improvements in working practices and, or safety or quality can be made
  • Working with others to create a culture of wellbeing across the site
  • Plan and organise the delivery of regular wellmandatory health checks e.g., auditory, FLT operator, confined spaces
  • Design and deliver the strategic wellbeing plan
  • Lead on roll out of wellbeing strategy across the site
  • Undertake Health & Wellbeing activities and promote the health & Wellbeing Strategy
  • Maintaining accurate, legible, comprehensive records
  • Maintaining compliance with mandatory training requirements (CPD)**
    Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • First level Registered Nurse professional qualification
  • Evidence of recent professional development
  • Uptodate knowledge of occupational health solutions
  • Knowledge and experience in administration of immunisations
  • Competent in venepuncture
  • Computer literacy with good IT skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ideally have practical experience in Occupational Health within a manufacturing environment.
