Proactive Workforce Solutions are looking to recruit
Qualified Dispenser to work with one of our customers based in
Glasgow.


Role:

To dispense medication for patients, following good dispensing practice and relevant guidelines by the GPhC code of ethics. Dispensers are vital to supply medication to patients; this is an essential role within our client.


Key activities:


  • Able to check off goods received efficiently and accurately
  • Able to pick items efficiently and accurately and check own work for errors
  • Able to identify erroneous components in an order
  • Able to ensure a stock rotation
  • Working knowledge of GPhC regulations on valid prescriptions
  • Working knowledge of GPhC regulations on dispensing practices (i.e. labelling, storage, hygiene requirements)
  • Predominantly dispense Low Tech therapies and mínimal Hi-Tech therapies as required, exclusive of Oncology.
  • Undertake and gin NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Services award

  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
  • Working knowledge of GPhC guidelines
