This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced/qualified Electrical Engineering Supervisor to join the local authority at The Port of Sunderland

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out, planning, organising, and supervising all electrical activities throughout the Port of Sunderland estate.

Specifically, you will be responsible for all electrical maintenance, inspections, installations,fault finding of all port buildings and infrastructure.

The successful applicant will possess relevant experience of installation of all electrical systems of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, a recognised qualification within the electrical engineering industry (for example City and Guilds, HNC) and will be ableto demonstrate experience of conducting inspections, testing etc in practice.

THE CANDIDATE:

Full driving licence
You will have a completed apprenticeship along with an industry recognised qualification ie C&G, HNC, BTec, NVQ etc.
You must have experience of installation of electrical systems to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations including installing heating and lighting systems
Possess good knowledge of IEE regulations, C&G 2360 and 2382 qualifications and inspection and testing certificate (2391)
