Payroll Senior, York or Leeds, £30,000 (hybrid working)
Due to growth an Accountancy Practice is looking to recruit a Payroll Senior to work from either their York or Leeds office, there is the option of hybrid working (2 days from home)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Setting up new clients
  • Adding new payroll clients to Sage and creating their account with HMRC
  • CIS Submissions
  • Sage 50 payroll experience advantageous
  • Liaising with pension scheme providers to ensure all clients pension arrangements are in order
  • Have a clear understanding of payroll, knowledge of UK payroll legal legislation & Auto Enrolment legislation
  • Support other team members with work as required
  • Auto Enrolment Duties
  • Declaration of compliance submissions and queries
  • Setting up of different pension providers

Requirements:


  • Previous payroll experience, ideally in a bureau background or accountancy practice
  • CIPP/Payroll qualification would be advantageous, however not essential
  • Experience running multiple payrolls
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of payroll systems
  • Able to work well as part of a team as well as independently
