We are currently seeking a Sports Experience Officer (Participation) to play a pivotal role in advancing our university's Sports Strategy and enhancing student participation in physical activity and sports programs.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues within the Sport Experience Team, various university departments such as Student Support Services, and external partners to develop and implement targeted sports initiatives, including Let's Do Leicester and Campus Leagues.

Your responsibilities will encompass maximizing funding opportunities from organizations like BUCS and Sport England to support program development aligned with our strategic goals.

A key aspect of the role involves continuously reviewing and updating risk assessments associated with our programs to ensure they adhere to safety standards and effectively mitigate potential risks.

As the ideal candidate for the role of Sports Experience Officer (Participation), you are passionate about the transformative power of sports within the university environment.
