The Role

We are a looking for a thorough and analytical individual to join an exciting international team, within one of the world's most innovative digital communications businesses.

We are seeking to recruit a driven, and technically proficient accounts payable to join the Group finance team.

This role will require working flexibly across a wide range of tasks to ensure that reporting deadlines are met with accuracy.

What you'll be doing

Ensure invoices received are processed accurately in a timely fashion and are linked to purchase orders
Managing the accounts payable delivery mailbox
Working with other team members across the Group to resolve issues preventing the processing and payment of invoices
Assisting the wider procurement function, dealing with daily invoice and expense processing, creating payment runs ensuring they are uploaded and approved and any adhoc payments
Ensure accounts payable is up to date and reconciled with creditors control accounts
Ensure invoices are directed to the appropriate budget holders/approvers and invoices not approved are followed up in a timely manner to ensure payment term compliance
Perform supplier statement reconciliation on a regular basis
Process corporate credit card payments and employee expense claims on a timely basis
Working to monthly deadlines set procedures and assisting with month/year end reporting
Assisting with the introduction and delivery of new business processes and systems across the Group
Other transactional service tasks not commensurate with the role as required.

Who you are

Competent, thorough and analytical individual who can work independently;
Able to adapt quickly to changing environment and work effectively with mínimal supervision;
Comfortable delivering to reporting deadlines and managing multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment;
Has a cando attitude to ensure the business has the correct level of support;
Willing to learn, develop and contribute ideas for process improvement; and
Passion for making a difference and contributing to the development of the business.
Proven working experience in accounts payable role
Handson experience with spreadsheets and accounting software, preferably Business Central (Microsoft Dynamic 365) & Concur
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Great communicator, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work on their own initiative and be adaptable
Analytical, problemsolving ability and strong attention to details
Experience in multicurrency environment an advantage

Nice to have

Experience of working in a digital, especially SaaS business.
Familiarity with the Group financial systems (CRM, Business Central, Qlik)
