The job itself:

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker, who has experience of SEND, to look after a young person with additional needs.

The young person requires full support to stay safe at home and when out in the community, this could be support with outdoor pursuits or planned activities.

The young person's interests include playing football, flying kites, playing on their scooter, dog walking, going to the cinema and going to ape, ideally the worker needs to be fun and energetic.

The worker should have knowledge of working with children with additional needs and should be approachable and confident in working with young people.

The worker will also need to be flexible and understand that the day's activities may be led by how the young person is feeling.

The family would ideally like a worker that can commit to doing long term work with their young person.
