Interim CFO | Post Series-B PropTech Scale-Up | £900-£1100/day | Temp-to-Perm

Harmonic have been engaged by a top tier European VC fund to find a highly experienced Interim CFO for one of their Scale-Up businesses to lead the finance function in an important time during their growth.

The opportunity to have a significant impact withinthis amazing company as they continue to expand internationally is one that cannot be missed.

Our client is looking for a CFO for an initial 6-Month period, with the opportunity for this to become a permanent role thereafter.

Our client uses revolutionary AI technology in parallel to their innovative hardware to provide their consumers with market leading data analysis which improves efficiency in the work environment.

With 200% YoY growth, our client is poised to become householdname within the next few years as their product and service becomes even more widely used.

Their annual revenue exceeded $35million in the past year which has led to rapid expansion of their headcount, which is over 300 at this time

The Role

This role will also be highly strategic and heavily involve Business Partnering with the passionate Founder on the long-term financial strategy of the business.

Managing a team of 10 in the finance department, this role with involve upskilling of the financedepartment to meet the ever-increasing needs of a Scale-Up.

Duties

Strategic Business Partnering with the Founder and across the business
Oversight of the entire Finance Function
Prepare the Scale-Up for a further fundraising later in 202
Lead and develop the businesses the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Function
Management of the 10 strong Finance team
Work closely with BI and sales to drive a metrics led culture
Take ownership for the financial performance of the business, helping the business achieve their strategic aims
Prepare accurate cashflow forecasting reports
Ensure that the accounting systems are robust and effective with processes and systems for monthly management reporting.

Essential Experience

ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
At least 6+ years of senior strategic finance professional experience
Previous experience as a CFO in a Software or Hardware (Ideally PropTech or SaaS, but not essential)
Experience in preparing Start-Ups or Scale-Ups for fundraising rounds
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Strong Commercial and strategic mindset.
Extremely strong communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement systems, told, and processes to increase business clarity.

Day Rate£900-£1100 (Inside IR35)
