What you'll be doing:

Leading the administration of:
Windows Server and VM ware virtual environment
SAN / NAS technologies
Building and maintenance of physical and virtual servers and workstations
Supporting the Information Assurance and Security requirements
Management of patching and software updates via WSUS configuration and administration
System backups and restore capabilities (utilizing Veeam)
Participate in monitoring and managing Server resources (disk space, event logs, backups etc.) including upgrades to existing hardware
Knowledge of Networks (VLANS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Security technologies and toolsets
Production of associated documentation

Your skills and experiences:

ESSENTIALS:

Certifications in VMware (or relevant experience)
Significant experience working within Windows Server domain (3rdline support / Wintel)
Stakeholder management experience
Strong trouble shooting and problem resolution skills

DESIRABLES:

Degree in a related discipline
Exposure to Information Security and Assurance; PowerShell and scripting
Experience with: Operational Technology / Industrial Control Systems; SCCM administration; Splunk Monitoring
SQL Database Administration

The IM&T team:

As an IM&T Practitioner/Associate, you will be building strong relationships across different functions in order to lead and manage the administration of the standalone IT infrastructure within a new facility.

You will be supporting the wider Engineering and Process and Governance Teams in order to support the IT infrastructure and information security requirements.

You will be a proactive individual that has the ability to work well under your own initiative and lead/support other team members.
