The role of Stock Auditor is really important to us. You will be responsible for protecting our fuel stock interests across our UK, Irish and mainland European network.


Your responsibilities day to day will be

  • Complete dedicated monthly stock reconciliations for specific sites based in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe.
  • Liaise with all sites to confirm their current stock position and investigate any outstanding reconciling items within the permitted timeframe.
  • Complete allocated monthly and weekly network partner and customer reconciliations.
  • Investigating and implementing new methods for measuring site performance and reconciliation processes.
  • Complete stock, transaction, and delivery reports for a variety of customers across Europe.
  • Work with the Finance Manager and team members to continually review and improve the reconciliation systems and processes.
  • Work closely with numerous departments within the business to analyse risk and minimise any potential financial exposure.

What do we expect of you?

  • Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with nonfinance people to gather relevant information.
  • Good Excel skills, ideally including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up, would be desirable.
  • Experience of reconciliation work would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of improving and streamlining processes would be an advantage.
