We are supporting a global manufacturing business in their search for an additional EC&I engineer to join the team.

This role is days only, Monday to Friday, 37.You will be joining a specialist area of the Engineering team that maintains all instrumentation and controls for the plant.

This role will be varied and challenging as there are multiple projects currently underway.
Support the maintenance effort across site to improve plant performance and reliability.
Lead continuous improvement projects within the department.
Provide Electrical & Controls Engineering skill and knowledge to the Project Engineering team.
Support project, process and maintenance activities that will lead to improved safety and production efficiencies.
Lead continuous improvement projects from concept to successful implementation.
Creating, maintaining electrical, instrumentation and controls documentation.
Supporting site breakdowns as required to return plant into production in a timely manner.
Electrical and Controls Engineer with a Controls/Instrumentation
Recognised Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
Rockwell PLC knowledge required (Logix 5000 & 500, plus RS view)
Understanding of Safety PLC systems and SIL.
