Job Overview


Talent Acquisition is critical to our people priorities in order to allow our business to be agile in anticipating and responding to demands, so that ultimately the Firm is able to deliver an exceptional service to our clients.


You will also drive forward objectives in line with the global People and Talent strategy, which is designed to drive Firm strategy through the modernisation of the Firm's people practices and transformation of the HR operating model.


Who you will work with


You will be part of a team of Experienced Hire Talent Acquisition Specialists who provide a business partnering service to the London Practice areas and UK Business Professional functions, as well as providing best practice expertise to the wider global Talent Acquisition network.

You will work closely with the wider global and regional HR function including Senior HR Business Partners and other teams across the business, where needed.

You will partner closely with hiring managers and Partners throughout the recruitment process, building up key relationships and a deep understanding of their requirements.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with teams across business professionals to deliver on projects and enhance processes in line with the global strategy.

You will be accountable for the following:

Planning & Strategy

  • Developing knowledge and expertise within your aligned client groups with the aim of leveraging this information to nurture deeper talent pools and increase credibility internally.
  • Developing market insights on the talent landscape in vertical markets and providing updates on key recruiting trends to hiring managers and Recruitment Team leadership. Leverage the information in order to feed into decisions in relation to organisational structure, talent planning and defining future roles.
  • Collaborating with Resource Management and Senior HR Business Partner teams regarding future requirements and headcount plans to work proactively.
  • Building relationships with key leaders and managers within the business to develop strategic recruitment strategies and talent pipeline initiatives.

Operational

  • Managing the end to end recruitment process for your aligned client groups and providing an excellent service delivery.
  • Partner with the leadership teams and hiring managers to identify and shape current and future resource needs.
  • Managing a high volume of recruitment activity, using processes effectively and focusing on direct sourcing.
  • Defining market maps and research in collaboration with the Global Research team, with the objective of approaching agreed targets on behalf of the business.
  • Responding to a range of queries and carrying out more complex procedures.
  • Providing seamless cover to other Talent Acquisition Specialists when needed for roles across Business Professionals and legal practice areas.

Process

  • Taking a holistic approach to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of processes regularly and suggesting/implementing changes.
  • Driving forward a number of initiatives in relation to advancing the overall operating model and modernisation of processes in line with the global strategy.
  • Leveraging metrics, to ensure that details of the process and outputs can be measured and reported on as necessary.
  • Actively monitoring and measuring effectiveness of recruiting strategies through data provided by real time updates in the ATS and CRM.

People

  • Developing and managing strong relations with internal and external stakeholders to the advantage of the business and the HR function.
  • Providing Partners and hiring managers with professional direction and guidance, ensuring that they have the skills and tools to hire talent effectively.
  • Influencing at all levels to ensure the balance of best practice and the needs of the Firm are met.
  • Dealing with Partners, hiring managers and employees to resolve complex queries or carry out requests within scope of the role.
  • Managing 3rd party Recruitment Agency relationships; ensuring alignment with our inclusive recruitment practice and promoting the Firm effectively.
  • Interviewing alongside hiring managers regularly and utilising appropriate assessment tools where required.
  • Sharing information, advice and expert knowledge with other team members and wider HR teams.

Inclusion

  • Promoting inclusive practices through the hiring process to positively impact diversity and inclusion through talent acquisition.
  • Equipping hiring managers and partners with data across the recruitment lifecycle to facilitate decisions in relation to aligning to their Inclusion Action Plan.
  • As an ambassador of the Firm on the external market act in line with the Firm's inclusive values and Code of Conduct.
