Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, we ensure that customer orders are built to schedule, providing them with the excellent products they have come to expect from Nuaire.
The Role
Reporting to the Labour planner the role is to organise production according to demand and quality standards.
The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations It will involve working with cross functional teams to ensure the smooth coordination of current and new programmed demands and built schedules.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products via capacity planning & lead time systems.
- Maintain the build schedules for all assembled manufactured products in line with customer requirements and available capacity and review regularly.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Adhere to the production plan weekly, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and best production efficiency working with current systems.
- BOM integration to support material planning activities.
- Organise production builds to satisfy customer demand & avoid productivity stoppage.
- Regular liaison with Labour planner regarding line running rates and any potential line problems, reviewing factory production reports, monitor reasons for variance, and advise Labour planner of the effects.
- Investigate all large schedule fluctuations, liaise with sales to ascertain reasons while keep Labour planner informed evaluating the costs where necessary.
- Ensure adequate checks exist regarding the availability of parts for build avoiding supply shortages.
- Obtain purchased part/material rescheduling requirements with relevant buyer and confirm delivery dates.
- Keep up to date with supplier performance and discuss with Purchasing Team Leader on a weekly basis.
- Monitor finished goods stock levels maintaining inventory policies in line with agreed KPI's.
- Investigate and resolve purchased part/material stock and delivery queries with relevant departments.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Keep paperwork organised.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.
- Proactively help to resolve customer product concerns by root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions, ensuring team buyin to changes.

Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
Essential:
- Knowledge of tracking material and flow within current production
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- An understanding of manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of MS Office and systems
- Good at math and statistics
- Strong organisational and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, providing input and feedback in a helpful manner
- Good problemsolving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in production scheduling ideally within an assembly environment
- Technical knowledge of ventilation products would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided

£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
