Established in 1966, Nuaire is a UK based ventilation solutions provider designing and manufacturing products for the domestic, commercial and industrial construction sectors.

The Finance Assistant will support the Financial Controller to prepare the monthly accounts for Nuaire. There will be routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements to support the wider business decision making process. The role will work closely with the Assistant Accountant.

The role will be based at the Nuaire site in Caerphilly.


What will you be doing?

  • Assist the Financial Controller in preparing the monthly accounts for Nuaire.
  • Routine and adhoc management reporting and analysis provision.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Adhoc jobs for other areas of the finance department.
  • Prepayments and accruals.
  • Supporting capital investment decisions and responsible for the company fixed asset register.
  • Completion of EC Sales List and Intrastat.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monthly recharges to other group companies and reconciliation of the recharge account.
  • Provide adhoc data to the external sales team.
  • Completion of regular reporting including Cash flow.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Great communicator and stakeholder manager
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Driven and motivated to deliver.
  • High numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate information.
  • Wellorganised with strong attention to detail.
  • Up to date technical knowledge.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £27,000.00 per year
