    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part-time Administrator to support our Adult Community Services Teams.

    Adult Community Services is a department providing specialist health services for Adults over the age of 18 with healthcare needs that are delivered in their normal place of residence.

    The service comprises of an administration team, District Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and other specialist nursing teams.

    Main duties of the job

    To provide a range of administrative and clerical duties to ensure the smooth runningof Adult Community Services Clinical Teams.- To provide an efficient and reliable appointment service for the patients referred toAdult Community Services Clinical Teams.- To undertake typing, both managerial and patient centred, including discharge letters,correspondence, minutes and reports.- To work at the Single Point of Access to receive, monitor, collate and dispatch allreferrals on a timely basis to the appropriate community teams effectively- To receive referrals and provide a single point of contact for community end of lifeservices, GPs, acute trust colleagues, patients and families and service providersacross Harrogate and Rural District.- To operate within the hours of 8-6 including Bank Holidays.- To be able to travel between community bases to support the wider Adult CommunityService Teams.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Maths & English GCSE grade C or equivelant
  • NVQ level 2/3 in administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Desirable

  • Customer Relations Experience
  • Experience of working in Health and Social Care
