Barker Munro recruitment is assisting an innovative, highly successful insurer to recruit a Senior negotiator for their Personal Injury Claims team.

Senior Technical Personal Injury Handler Job Responsibilities include managing and negotiating all serious injury claims from new claim stage to conclusion.

You will be responsible for the sign off bodily injury reserves between £35,000 and £55,000 per claim.

You will also manage and negotiate a small caseload of development files outside own authority limit on strict referral of up to £100,000.

You will be fully conversant with the relevant sections of MOJ Reforms, Civil Procedure Rules, Personal Injury Pre-Action Protocol and Road Traffic Act and the implications of being RTA/ARTICLE 75 insurer up to £55,000.


We are seeking applicants who have strong technical motor claims experience working within a bodily injury claims environment and with technical expertise with exposure to serious bodily injury claims, including but not limited to fractures and psychological trauma.

Experience handling claims within an OIC (Official Injury Claims) Portal or similar is required as well as
technical expertise with exposure to third party claims including credit hire and liability.
