Headway Birmingham & Solihull is a Brain Injury Charity.

Our Lifestyle Services Team provide support, services and guidance for people with an Acquired Brain Injury enabling them to improve their independence at home and in the community leading to an improved quality of life.

Our pay scale starts at the National Living Wage of £10.90ph, includes six levels of pay up to £12.00ph (for qualified and experienced Support Workers) and we have hours to suit your lifestyle.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly, positive, caring, self-motivated individual who has the drive, personality and reliability to make a real difference to our clients' life.

Our client requires a female Support Worker who can speak Punjabi.

Your role will involve supporting our client to attend appointments, social activities, shopping in the community using your car to transport them and assist with day to day living skills in their homes.

Some personal care may be required.

Applicants will need to be a Car Driver / Owner and have experience of working with disabilities, have, or be willing to gain an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Experience of working with brain injury desirable.
