Job Summary

You will be joining our accounts department based at our Head Office assisting the current Sales and Purchase ledger teams who are responsible for carrying out the duties listed below.

It is essential you possess a flexible and positive can-do attitude, along with a willingness to learn and be part of a team

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier's invoices
  • Assisting with supplier's statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with payment runs by bacs and cheque
  • Communicating with supplier's customer's and internal managers
  • Supporting credit control with customer queries and copy invoices etc
  • Chasing overdue debts
  • Assisting with customer cash allocation and the monthly statement processes
  • General Ad Hoc duties to include incoming and outgoing post

Person Specification

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Competent computer skills including excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have a responsible and mature attitude and able to work independently with mínimal supervision to deadlines
