Main DutiesAll HR operations in relation to the employment and compliance of casual staff, contractors, and other individuals that are not regularly engaged at the school
- To build effective relationships with departments across the school and external contractors to ensure compliance on safeguarding is observed and applied at all times
- HR records, data management, and the efficient administration of all casual staff recruitment and attendancerelated operations, policies, and procedures
- To carry out righttowork, DBS, and suitability to work with children checks and rechecks as required, and in adherence with the Keeping Children Safe in Education regulations and Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) guidance.
- To ensure that allemployment and compliance documentation is sought, collated, and recorded correctly, signed off by the Director of HR, and accessible for any future audit that may be undertaken
- To promote efficiency by creating and implementing improved operational procedures
- To work collaboratively with the rest of the HR team on any recruitment needs
- To ensure compliance at all times with employment law and keep up to date with developments in employment legislation.
- Any other duties appropriate to the role
GENERAL
- Take part in such staff training as may be agreed.
- Undertake such other duties which may be reasonably required. SAFEGUARDING
- Adhere to school policy on safeguarding and updating training as required.
- Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people at the school in accordance with school policies
