Voluntary Action South West Surrey is recruiting a 0.4 FTE (14 hours per week) Community Frailty Academy Co-ordinator on a 12-month contract - with the possibility to extend to 18 months.

Based in Guildford, but travel throughout the Guildford and Waverley Boroughs will be required for the role.
Working closely with the Frailty Academy Programme Manager and Project Manager, you will support the roll-out of the Frailty Academy programme amongst small charities and voluntary organisations in Guildford and Waverley to help improve the delivery of their services for older people

The Frailty Academy's vision is for everyone to age well, for volunteers and staff to have the skills and knowledge in frailty to support our older population and for the experience of people living with frailty and their carers to inform and improve how we provide care and support_

As part of the role you will provide training
- where necessary to raise awareness of the issues relating to older people living with frailty

*full training will be given to enable you to carry out this task

You will assist in the planning and delivery of frailty education programmes to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE), people living with frailty and their families and carers

The salary is £11,600 actual pa (£29,000 FTE) for 14 hours per week.
